Hi, my name is Juan Mendoza, the founder of Bear D. I’ve been working as a fashion designer for the last 18 years. I worked with top high fashion brands and also as costumer for theater. Bear D was created out of my own necessity as a member of the bear community who couldn’t find clothes that adapt to MY necessities, while still conscious about the impact on our planet.

Bear D is an eco-friendly brand. Our pieces are made with bamboo fabric and vegan leather, and our packaging is recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable.
My idea was to come up with a brand that works as self-expression while creating a healthy conscience about our planet, the LGBTQ+ community as a whole, and promotes integration and pride within the community.
